In Tom Brown’s The Tracker (1978), he talks of his teacher Stalking Wolf who defined good medicine as “any experience so memorable that it just has to be a gift from the spirit-that-moves-through-all-things”.

My blog is a compilation of good medicine that I have been privileged with through unique perspectives, lessons learned, and the memorable experiences that impact who I am.   While this blog Good Medicine is based on my experiences, I hope some of the stories will help others  find and search for their own perspectives and lessons and possibly take a little more time to create and absorb more good medicine in their own life.

A little about me, I am a 46 year old woman who is one of the believers that every decade becomes a little more enjoyable as you come into your own.   I have always felt like I have had a hundred angels watching over me and I was born with a chemistry that allows for an optimistic attitude and even nature.  I don’t take this for granted.  As I get older I am driven more urgently like many to find my purpose.  This often leads me to invest my time in being with animals and in nature and is often where I find good medicine.  If you are wondering, you will know it when you find it.
